Terms & Conditions of BRET’S TABLE Culinary Tours

Places are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A non-refundable deposit of US $500.00 per person is required to reserve a place. Space is limited, so early reservations are advised. The balance is due no later than 90 days before the program begins. If the balance remains unpaid at that time, BRET’S TABLE reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled, and retain the deposit paid. Price is inclusive of accommodations, tuition, food, wines, and transfers as specified in the itinerary. BRET’S TABLE is not responsible for any other expenses incurred by you in preparing to attend its programs, including hotel, airfare, and ground transportation. Prices do not include optional trips or special transfers outside the itinerary.

Price is quoted on a double occupancy basis. Single room supplements of $1000.00, if such room is available. If requested, BRET’S TABLE will try to find another participant to share a double room with you. Upon receiving your deposit, BRET’S TABLE will send you a confirmation via electronic mail, provided space is available, and frequently requested information regarding itinerary, dress, etc.

If we receive written notice of your cancellation more than 90 days prior to the start of your program (and have also received payment in full for the program), we shall refund 50% of your total fee, less your original US $500.00 deposit. There will be no refund if you, as a participate, cancel 90 days or less prior to the start of your program, unless (i) we are able to fill your place with another participant. BRET’S TABLE reserves the right to cancel any program should a minimum number of participants not be reached. In this case a refund of all payments made payable and received by BRET’S TABLE, shall be returned to the person who has made the payment and shall release BRET’S TABLE from all liability to you. As well there can be no refunds made for any unused portions of your program.

Services provided in connection with the trip, such as accommodations and any form of transportation, are rendered by independent contractors who are not agents or employees of BRET’S TABLE. BRET’S TABLE arranges for these services only as the agent for the individual participant. Participants expressly agree that BRET’S TABLE shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, bodily injury or death or damage to property occasioned through the acts, negligence or defaults of any company or individual engaged in providing the services arranged by BRET’S TABLE.

BRET’S TABLE shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any illness, injury, death or damage for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to acts of God, accidents, detention, war, quarantine, weather, terrorism, civil disturbance, strike, changes in government regulations or restraints, airline, or other travel operations. BRET’S TABLE will not be responsible for any belongings damaged, lost, or left behind by the participant.

BRET’S TABLE reserves the right to substitute itinerary items of equal value without notice to participants. Signature on the reservation form of the participant or authorized representative signifies acceptance of and agreement to be bound by all the terms and conditions as stated on this website. Purchase of baggage, personal effects, accident, health, and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

It is the responsibility of each tour participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other documents required by applicable government regulations. Non US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate.

By making payment, traveler certifies that he or she does not have any condition or disability that would create a hazard or hardship for other travelers participating in the culinary tour and the traveler understands that health care standards, facilities and services in Europe may be different or inadequate for treatment of certain health conditions. BRET’S TABLE makes no representations or warranties and disclaims any made regarding special accommodations or handicap accessibility on any program. BRET’S TABLE reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveler whose health or actions in BRET’S TABLE sole judgment impede the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow travelers.


In consideration of BRET’S TABLE furnishing services to enable me to participate in one of its programs, I agree as follows:

I fully understand and acknowledge that culinary and travel activities have: (a) inherent risks, dangers and hazards and such exists in my participation of BRET’S TABLE sponsored activities; (b) my participation in such activities may in an unlikely event, result in injury or illness; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees, officers or agents of BRET’S TABLE or independent contractors, the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature or other causes; and (d) by my participation in these activities, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the owners, agents, officers, or employees of BRET’S TABLE, or by any other person.

I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify BRET’S TABLE and its agents, officers, and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my participation in BRET’S TABLE programs.

I understand that BRET’S TABLE reserves the right to take photographic or digital records of any of its programs, and hereby agree that BRET’S TABLE may use any photographic or digital records for promotional and/or commercial purposes without any remuneration to the participant. The participant agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to BRET’S TABLE.
